Appetite for breeding in other states has decreased

The breeding season is now here, and as we noted in a prior post, it’s been a slow start for Kentucky farms. That’s an ominous sign, because Kentucky is the leading breeding center in the country. If Kentucky is slow to get moving, what’s it like for the rest of the country?
